What is OiLMAN?
OiLMAN was an iOS mobile game centered on the fierce battles, market monopolies, and wealth accumulation among the great oil development companies of the 18th century. Inspired by the real corporations and figures that dominated the era, the game featured art direction and corporate logos derived from historical references, reimagined with wit and creativity. To capture the tension and atmosphere of the harsh, high-risk world of oil exploration, the project was realized as a collaborative artistic endeavor, involving professional illustrators, composers, and 3D artists. Although the game has since been discontinued and is no longer available on the App Store, the development process and final product remain a source of pride and inspiration.
